 Soviet built diesel-electric locomotive No. 39020 in the yard at Cinefuegos, Cuba on Sunday 8th June 2003. Unfortunately it was not possible to get closer to this 1,200hp 1990-built locomotive for a better look.

This EMU originally served on Catalan railways, built in the 1940s it was acquired by FCC in the 1990s.
|  Steam locomotive No. 1517 on a tourist train at Trinidad de Cuba on Thursday 12 June 2003. Built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works, Pennsylvania in 1907 this standard gauge 2-6-0 had just worked up and down the Valle de los Ingenios on a special train for tourists.

|  Despite the steelwork looking derelict behind the loco the sugar mill was in full production, and 3 locos were busy shunting in the yard
|  This loco bears no identity other than its number but in different livery to the other locos working at the mill and was waiting for clearance from the sugar mill with a full tanker train bound for the docks for export
