Fiskerton Junction and the lines absolute block signalling were up for replacement but the current financial climate dictates that the semaphores on this line are very unlikely to be going anywhere for the foreseeable future. The box is located between Nottingham and Newark on the line to Lincoln and Cleethorpes, it retains a 30 lever frame and a set of wheel worked gates, the wheel being out of view to the photographers right.
