To the left in this view at Amsterdam Centraal on 30th April 2024, is a Thalys / Eurostar No. 4540, the last of ten triple voltage sets known as Thalys PBA, which operate on the Paris-Brussels-Amsterdam services. Set No. 4540 is waiting to depart from Amsterdam Centraal on the 18.15 service to Paris Gare du Nord. To the right is an NS 'Koploper', No. 4064. It is a member of the ICM-1 and ICM-2 'Intercity Materieel' Class, which were built by Talbot and are 3 car sets numbered in the sequence 4011–4097. They were first introduced into service in 1983. All have now been modified with the removal of the front connecting doors. No. 4064 is one of the batch covering Nos. 4051–4097, which are Thyristor controlled.
