After working a Railway Touring Co . charter the 'Edinburgh Flyer' the previous day, ex LMS Class 5 No. 44871 heads past Copmanthorpe on 19th May 2024 with empty coaching stock from York NRM to the West Coast Railways' Depot at Carnforth. Steam power for this working was, however, short lived, as the train reversed at Gascoigne Wood and was Class 47 hauled forward unusually taking the route via Micklefield to Leeds.
